Power Explanation: Kira is a empath, with the ability to project her emotions into other people. Because of her early training, she has excellent shields, and does not project her emotions on to other people accidentally, unless she is under a very large amount of stress. She also has the ability to sense the emotions of others, but doing so requires some effort on her part, and does not happen automatically, unless her shields are totally down, which happens very rarely. Before she was moved into this reality, Kira was also learning how to speak telepathically. A major limiation on her power is that trying to change someone's emotional state radically is something that is going to be noticed, and resisted, even by non-psychics. This means that in practical terms, she will be most successful when she "adjusts" the emotions in a way that will seem like a normal emotional progression to the person being manipulated. This power will not work very well on psychics, people who are very self-aware regarding their emotional state or who have experience with psychics. At first, she only had the ability to make others feel what she was feeling, now she has learned how to call to mind a particular emotion and have the person feel that.

History: Kira is from an alternate reality, in which Ben and Kiwa stayed together. She was born in the Crossroads, at the start of their third year there, and was raised in the Crossroads for the first years of her life. Upon their return, Ben and Kiwa went to college, and raised their daughter. Kiwa became a lawyer for X-corp, Ben is a counsellor at Xaviers. When Kira's power started manifesting at age 8 (and gave new meaning to the phrase 'When baby ain't happy, ain't nobody happy') her parents taught her how to shield and to control her abilities. Later, she also studied with Michael Asters. Kira was a friendly, but somewhat reserved person prior to being moved to his reality. Now, she is extremely introverted and upset because of the trauma associated with the Shadow King's attack, and maintains her shields more tightly than in the past, to keep emotions from getting out or in.

On April 20th, 2018, Kira Reese was killed by a Sentinel blast.

Physical Description: 5'1", honey brown hair, blue eyes. She closer resembles Kiwa, except for her eye shape.
