Victor knocked on the door to Pete's dorm room after having gotten his things packed. He hoped that he hadn't missed the older boy.

Pete was indeed still in his room. By now mostly changed, he answered the door with one boot in his hand.

"Hey Pete. Please don't hit me with that. I just came about yer note." He shuffled his feet a little bit. "An' to say thanks, fer pickin' up my stuff."

"No problem Vic. How you doing?"

"Pretty cruddy t' be honest, but so's everyone else."

Pete nodded. "You wanna come in? I'm just packing up a last few things."

"Yeah, sure. If it ain't much trouble." Victor stepped inside with his hands in his pocket. "You must be kinda excited, it's almost a second visit back home fer ya."

Pete headed into the common area. His two bags were packed and ready, what he'd been referring to was obviously the bokken and katana laid out on the table on a heavy but soft piece of cloth.

"Yeah, I guess." he said. "Kira would've liked Scotland I think."

"Yeah, probably." Victor sighed, reminded again of the events a few days prior and the cause of their trip. "I hope this works. You know, makin' people feel a little better, so they can enjoy the place."

"You expectin' trouble there?" He asked, nodding toward Pete's swords.

"No, and I certainly hope there isn't any. Just.. somethings you don't leave behind."

"Yeah, I guess so." Victor thought about how he had thrown away the things Rob had given him, only to decide a few days later to take them with him as well.

"Oh, that reminds me." Pete said, as he carefully began wrapping the two weapons. "There's a bag for you on my desk, that stuff you wanted from London."

"Oh geeze, I forgot about that!" Victor was like a child on Christmas morning as he rushed over toward Pete's desk, rummaging through the bag with a wide smile. "Aww man, these are perfect! You were able to get all this with the cash I gave ya?"

Pete chuckled. "Yeah, just about. You just gotta know where to shop."

"You didn't go through too much trouble did ya?" Victor almost looked a little guilty, assuming he'd taken away part of Pete's vacation.

"It's fine Vic, don't worry about it." Pete replied, as he finished wrapping the two swords and slid the resultant cloth wrapped package carefully into the art tube.

"Well, if'n you ever want somethin' from Canada, like some maple syrup or somethin', you let me know, okay?"
